Join Commission representatives as we celebrate the adoption and launch of the Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation (Fifteenth Edition).
Informed by extensive member feedback, the revised standards reaffirm our core principles rooted in mission, student success, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
The revised standards introduce a more streamlined structure, reduce redundancies, strengthen expectations for outcomes and innovation, and provide clearer alignment with today’s higher education landscape, including student mobility, transfer credit, and workforce-aligned learning experiences. This edition also reflects evolving state and federal policy contexts while preserving independent, mission-centered accreditation.
Hear from those at the Commission who guided this process, learn what is new, and understand what it means for institutions, peer evaluators, and others engaged in the work of accreditation.
