Italy calls to people in a unique way. The rich and colorful culture melts into awarm atmosphere ;lled with light and life. Ancient traditions combine with aspiritual pride expressed in the art and food that epitomize what we havecome to know as La Bella Vita. Something about Italy stirs the soul as much asit educates the mind. From Roman ruins to the richness of the Renaissance,from the ruins of war to the peace of country life, experience the world in anew way in beautiful Italy. 

You will have the opportunity to perform in Venice, Florence, and Rome! 

Travel date: June 01-09, 2022

The total program fee to Italy includes (see details in the Itinerary tab)

  • Round trip airfare
  • Airport transfer to/from hotel
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Local transportation to/from scheduled daily activities
  • Entrances into cultural sites
  • Guides and drivers
  • International travel insurance

Please take care to observe your required monthly deposits on the program, and other costs not subject to deposit requirements (to be taken care of by the student).

Other costs:

  • $200 study abroad fee
  • $200 supplemental             Students advised to bring to Italy to cover cost of meals not included in program
  • $145 passport fee               Fee required to apply for a new U.S. passport ($110 for renewing the passport)

Students interested in this FLP Italy must receive permission of the faculty leaders to participate in this program. 

Once enrolled into one of the courses, students will be required to create and to complete a Study Abroad application with the Office of Global Engagement, and carefully observe the established deposit schedule for the study abroad trip to Italy.

Enrollment Steps:

  1. Contact faculty leaders to discuss your interest in the FLP 
  2. Upon receiving the registration list from the faculty leaders, the Office of Global Engagement will initiate Study Abroad Application
  3. Follow program deposit schedule for the study abroad trip to Italy
