Student Success
"With the support of my program, even after finishing my undergraduate in Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management in May 2025, I was able to continue my involvement and impact. I was well connected with industry leaders and partners that have led to job opportunities and experiences that I could not have imagined. The program's industry experience and networks helped expand my opportunities and give me real life experience even in the classroom, creating educational programs that prepare me for my career. They pushed me to do research, engage with outside partners, build engaging events, intern in different industries, and travel around the world. With the program I was able to take a deep dive into the events world, volunteering for a number of large scale conferences, conventions, and local events. My Master's program is now reinforcing the management and analytical processes, helping put theory to practice. It is pushing me even further into my career even before I step foot into it."

“During my time at Stockton, I honed my analytical skills, mastered financial principles, and developed a strong foundation in accounting practices. Because of the valuable knowledge that I gained from my professors, I was able to achieve my goal of passing the CPA exam and obtaining my CPA license, which changed the trajectory of my career. “

…for the students who are lucky enough to be enrolled in the hospitality program at Stockton, and are still current students, take advantage of that network. Take advantage of the help, take advantage of the ways to get involved, you know. Take the time to build those relationships because it really does make a difference – especially post grad, especially when you're looking for jobs – to have that network. Opportunities may be presented to you that otherwise wouldn't have. So, get your name in there and make those connections, and just take advantage of it while you're there. Because the community is real, it's genuine, and everybody wants to help you succeed.
