Direct Entry for Stockton Students

Stockton offers "direct entry" into one of the graduate programs listed for a limited period of time upon the recommendation of the appropriate Graduate Program Coordinator. Stockton students who meet the requirements below as well as Stockton students enrolled in a dual degree program will not need to complete a traditional graduate application for admission to a graduate degree program and the Office of Graduate Admissions will also waive the graduate application fee. Students must apply to graduate and submit an essay and a resume in the online application.

The timeframe to complete the electronic Direct Entry Request is limited to one year of your graduation date. If you miss the deadline and want to apply to the graduate school, you must proceed through the traditional Graduate School Application Process.

Application Deadlines

While graduate admissions selection committees review applications until the start of the semester, by applying prior to the Priority Deadline, you can ensure that your transition to Stockton is as smooth as possible: you will be invited to the New Student Orientation Event, and have access to priority registration which means you may have more options for monthly installments of a payment plan, as well as greater options for class selection.

Priority Deadlines:

Fall: July 1
Spring: December 1

Apply Now Via Direct Entry Application

All direct entry students must attend the Graduate Student Orientation and Precepting Event which is required for registration. This mandatory event occurs prior to the start of the term in which you request direct entry. Please review the Academic Calendar for specific dates.
