About the Math Center

The Math Center provides peer tutoring to current Stockton students enrolled in mathematics and other math-related subjects from schools across the University.

Some courses, besides mathematics, that we commonly tutor are:

About the Writing Center

The Writing Center offers a critically reading test audience for writers at Stockton. Whatever your area of study, whatever the specifics of your assignment, when you come to work in the Writing Center, you will be met with a peer writer who is ready to talk you through your writing—even if you haven't yet put any words on a page. Peer writers emphasize the core writing concepts of audience, purpose, and genre, but they can help you with all aspects of writing, at any stage of the writing process: Have some ideas but aren't sure how to organize them? We got you. Not sure if your argument makes sense? We got you there, too. Need help with something smaller, such as citations and formatting? Yup—we help with that, too. You can even work with a peer writer on personal writing, such as scholarship essays, job materials, and creative projects.
