FAQ

Face-to-face and online tutoring are offered on a drop-in basis.

Graduate students may contact Eddie Horan (edward.horan@stockton.edu) to schedule a session.

We are offering online tutoring in addition to face-to-face tutoring.

The Math Center offers tutoring in a wide range of math-related (Q1, Q2) courses. You can find a list of tutors for a particular course on TutorOcean

In the Writing Center tutors can share tips on active reading and how to get the most out of a textbook, but tutors do not interpret or explain readings for students.

Tutors in the Writing Center can help students in all phases of the research process, from understanding the assignment, locating credible sources using the Stockton Library’s databases, developing a thesis, preparing an outline or annotated bibliography, taking information from sources without plagiarizing, and proper documentation in APA, MLA, or Chicago styles.

Both the Math Center and Writing Center will provide online evening tutoring Sundays through Thursdays beginning on Monday of the second week of the semester. For more details see TutorOcean
