Join Dr. Hettie V. Williams as she discusses her book, The Georgia of the North: Black Women and the Civil Rights Movement in New Jersey. Dr. Hettie V. Williams is an Associate Professor in African American History at Monmouth University. She is the author/editor of seven books and several essays, articles, and book chapters.

Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Sponsored by South Jersey Culture and History Center. Co-sponsored by Stockton University Multicultural Center, Murphy Writing, Africana Studies, and American Studies.
