Alumni Highlight - Myles Mungo
Myles Mungo is a Stockton University alumnus who has performed as a specialty dancer for Celebrity Cruises for the past three years. Myles loves his job and especially relishes the opportunity to travel the world and perform on stage for thousands of guests on each cruise. He has danced for Roger Lee Dance Company and Jon Lehrer Dance. He is a skilled performer who brings his unique style and passion to every show. He loves being in the spotlight and creating a contagious energy that spreads throughout the crowd. Stockton University prepared Myles as a dancer to be adaptable and knowledgeable in his craft so that he could succeed and be confident in the field. The university's dance program provided him with a solid foundation in dance and instilled in him a love of performance. Myles attributes his success to the skills and confidence he acquired at Stockton.
“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been accepted into the Stockton University Dance Program. It is unheard of for someone with no prior dance knowledge to be accepted as a Dance Major. However, the Stockton Dance Program took a risk on me, and I am eternally grateful. The program provided me with the information and encouragement that I needed to grow as a dancer and overcome my fear of performing professionally. I know that the world of performing can be daunting, but I am confident that I will be successful because of my foundation from the Stockton University Dance Program.”
