The Charge

Initiate and Oversee Stockton’s Strategic Planning Process

Develop and manage a comprehensive strategic planning process that aligns with the University’s core principles (mission, vision, and values).
Support the President’s Vision

Work closely with the President to ensure institutional aspirations are represented in both the planning process and the finalized strategic plan. Encourage ideas and discussions that address emerging trends and anticipate the future needs of the University.
Engage Stakeholders and Foster Collaboration

Design and manage a planning process that is inclusive, participatory, and transparent for Stockton’s campus. Ensure a wide array of perspectives and voices are included in the events, activities, and feedback processes that will inform the strategic plan.
Define Priorities

Work collaboratively to define institutional priorities which will guide the development of the strategic plan and its implementation.
Communicate and Celebrate Progress

Engage in ongoing communication with the Stockton community to share updates, achievements, and next steps relating to the planning process.
