Message from Strategic Planning Steering Committee Co-Chairs
It has been our pleasure to lead Stockton through a new era of providing an accessible and impactful academic experience to our students, a dynamic workplace for our employees, and a pillar of the community to our external constituents.
We approached this plan with community in mind, calling for all who wanted to be involved to engage in the ways that their time and interest permitted. From serving in various leadership capacities to responding to surveys and listening sessions, more than 1,000 students, staff, and faculty members participated in the planning process. Over 325 members of the campus community served on the Steering Committee and Working Groups for the plan. This truly is a plan that reflects the collective work and engagement of the campus community.
This plan comes with a refreshed lens on our mission, vision, and values, upholding the liberal arts education that serves as the center of Stockton’s identity while looking forward to ensuring a sustainable future that is responsive to the dynamic landscape of higher education.
We are grateful to our colleagues who served on the Strategic Planning Steering Committee and the nine Working Groups. Thank you to our entire Osprey community for your honest feedback, engagement, and generously offering your experiences and expertise to help us soar higher.
Go, Ospreys!
