Institutional Review Board

What is the Institutional Review Board?

Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or research ethics committees conduct periodic reviews of human subjects research to ensure participants are protected and proposals meet ethical acceptability standards for human research.

If you are unsure if your project requires IRB review, submit an inquiry to IRB@stockton.edu.

Pardon our webpage's appearance as we are making updates.

IRB submission due dates for AY24-25 are published below.

The internal IRB submission system is phased out and in read only status. No new protocol submissions, modifications, or and other submission can be sent through the old internal system.

All new protocol submissions must be submitted through Cayuse Human Ethics.

Contact the IRB administrator britny.dileo@stockton.edu for questions and check out CTLD for upcoming Cayuse training sessions.

September 1 2024 The internal IRB submission will be officially shut down.
