who meet monthly to read original plays. Performances are organized several times

The Gilded Age is an American historical (1880s to 1900s) drama television series
created and written by Julian Fellowes. The series explores conflicts of new money,
industrialism, and old money, the African American upper class, and the domestic workers
who are considered a lower class. The series follows Marian Brook, a young woman entering
1882 New York City's rigid social scene with strict rules that cause drama, daily
conflicts, and scandals between families of “new money” and “old money.” We will discuss
the numerous real (and famous) families of the era, as they relate to Season 2.

Tour of Poetry

Splint Woven Stool

Each student will receive an oak stool frame 11x11x13 and will be taught to do a twill
weave pattern. Once mastered, this method can be used on any chair or stool.
