Out-of-State (Non-New Jersey) Online Students

Stockton University is approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) by the New Jersey Department of Higher Education. NC-SARA provides a voluntary regional approach to the oversight of postsecondary distance education. Through participation in NC-SARA, Stockton can offer online education to residents throughout the United States. A list of SARA-participating students is available in their directory.

 

Out-of-State (Non-New Jersey) Professional Licensure Disclosure

Please note that NC-SARA does not cover professional licensing board approvals. Prospective online students interested in professional license programs, should first contact the appropriate licensing agency in their home state to determine eligibility.

While Stockton University does offer in-person professional licensure programs, it does not offer full online programs for professional licensure.

 

Out-of-State Complaint Process (for Non-New Jersey students enrolled in Stockton University Online Courses and Programs

Stockton University is committed to resolving student complaints in a fair and expeditious manner. Stockton students residing outside of New Jersey should first work to resolve complaints directly with Stockton by contacting their school:

School of Health Sciences

School of Natural Sciences & Mathematics

School of Social & Behavioral Sciences

Students may also use the Stockton University “How Do I Report?” page to address a complaint.

With a focus on finding positive outcomes to student concerns, Stockton requests that students first try to resolve complaints with the University. However, if a complaint cannot be resolved directly with Stockton, students may file a complaint in New Jersey with The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education:
