The mission of the Office of Academic Achievement Programs is to bridge equity gaps in student engagement in high impact practices to promote inclusive student success for all Stockton students.
High Impact Practice (HIPs)
Teaching and learning practices that are beneficial for college students from many backgrounds. These include, but are not limited to:

- Internships
- Undergraduate Research
- Service Learning
First Ospreys
First Ospreys is a retention initiative that celebrates, supports, and prepares first-generation
students to ensure successful completion of their undergraduate studies.
TogetHER
TogetHER seeks to equip Stockton University’s undergraduate womxn of color with the
confidence, resilience, and leadership skills needed to successfully navigate their
student experience.
Sankofa

Success Scholars
The Success Scholars Initiative is designed to assist students with their overall
experience at Stockton University.
Fellowships for Distinguished Students
The Stockton Board of Trustees Fellowships for Distinguished Students supports student-initiated
projects of undergraduate research and/or creative work in keeping with the educational
philosophy and mission of Stockton University.
