Stockton student veteran Justin Cruz, public relations chair for the Student Veteran
Organization (
SVO), shows off the paper he created from pieces of his Navy uniform. Frontline Paper
came to campus during Veterans Week and hosted
a papermaking workshop where uniforms are cut into pieces, beaten into pulp, pulled

Students in
Assistant Professor of Political Science Claire Abernathy’s “President and Congress”
class created the exhibit, "The LoBiondo Legacy: Highlights from a Lifetime of Service
to South Jersey,” by using items from the collection retired U.S. Rep Frank LoBiondo
gifted to Stockton. The exhibit highlights 10 themes from his 35-year career in public service: Background, Aviation,
John’s Law, Bulletproof Vest Grants, Intelligence, 9/11, Coast Guard, Environment,
Challenge Coins and Relationships in Congress. The exhibit is housed in the lower
level of the Richard E. Bjork Library. Pictured above (L-R): Stockton President Harvey

The Unified Black Students Society held their annual flagraising ceremony to celebrate
Black History Month on Feb. 4 at Arts & Sciences Circle. Learn more about the UBSS

Bobbi Hornbeck, adjunct faculty in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, holds a
replica of the 1631 deed recording Samuel Godyn and Samuel Bloemmaert's purchase of
16 square miles from ten Native Americans. Hornbeck and her Anthropology students
curated an exhibit at the Museum of Cape May County to tell stories of Cape May's indigenous peoples
that pre-date written records.
