Criminal Justice Lecture Series: Tiffany Wilson

Galloway, N.J. – Tiffany Wilson, the senior counsel to the New Jersey Attorney General, will discuss the impact of alternative and community response programs and underscore how these initiatives improve care for individuals in crisis while freeing up police resources, starting at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 25, in Room F-111.

The lecture is part of the Criminal Justice Lecture Series sponsored by the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences, which centers on current developments in the criminal justice field. This event is free and open to the public.

Wilson is also the director of the state Office of Alternative and Community Responses. Prior to her role in the Office of the Attorney General, Wilson spent over two decades as an assistant prosecutor and supervised all matters related to criminal justice reform. For the last decade, Wilson also supervised all of Union County’s diversionary programs with a particular emphasis on mental health diversion and programs related to the interception of mental health and the criminal justice system. Wilson received her B.A. from Villanova University and her J.D. from William and Mary Law School.
