Welcome to the Controller’s Office

The Controller’s Office at Stockton University serves as a central resource for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and stewardship of the University’s financial operations. We are committed to supporting the campus community by providing reliable financial services, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, and promoting sound fiscal practices across the institution.

The key functions of the Controller’s Office are overseeing the Accounts Payable and Fiscal Affairs operations.

The primary objectives of Stockton University’s Accounts Payable procedures are to ensure the timely and accurate disbursement of University funds for all contractual obligations, services, travel, and the procurement of goods necessary for the operation and maintenance of the University. These processes are carried out in accordance with New Jersey State regulations and University policies. In addition, we ensure compliance with the Prompt Payment Act, as well as University travel and purchasing procedures, while verifying all invoices prior to payment.

The primary objective of Fiscal Affairs is to uphold the University’s fiduciary responsibilities and support the broader mission of the institution. The team works to advance economic goals by expanding direct state support, maximizing net revenue, maintaining affordability, aligning spending with available resources, and exercising sound financial management. Fiscal Affairs is also dedicated to maintaining the University’s creditworthiness and preserving the value of its physical assets.
