BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Weihong Fan is a professor of Environmental Science at Stockton University. She earned a Ph.D. in ecology from Colorado State University at Fort Collins, Colorado. With 25+ years of experience with GIS technology, she has been doing research on the topics of broad scale nitrogen and carbon cycling, climate change, ecological modeling, tree special diversity, and landscape ecology. Being a PI or Co-PI, she successfully secured three external grants in the past decade from NASA, USDA, and the NSF. Several of her research works were published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals of the field. Most importantly, she has been a proud professor and mentor to her students majoring in Environmental Science for decades.
