New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Accreditation Commission Will Assess the Richard Stockton College Police Department

GALLOWAY TWP., NJ The New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Accreditation Commission will assess the Richard Stockton College Police Department from August 27, 2006 through August 29, 2006. The assessment marks the culmination of a two-year accreditation program the department has undertaken in coordination with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. Stocktons Police Department will be evaluated according to 146 standards instituted by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies and New Jersey statutory and regulatory law.

 

In accordance with the Accreditation Program, the Richard Stockton College Police Department invites all members of the community to the Public Information Session, which is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2006 in the Ann B. Townsend Residential Life Center at Richard Stockton College in Galloway Township.

 

Those who are unable to attend the public hearing may offer comments to the Accreditation Assessors, at (609) 652-4390 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m on Monday, August 28, 2006. Telephone and in-person comments are limited to five minutes and must address the agencys ability to comply with accreditation standards. A copy of these standards can also be obtained through Accreditation Manager Sgt. Maria Parziale.
