GALLOWAY TWP., NJ Mr. Salvatore (Sal) Catalfamo, Dean of Enrollment Management at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, has announced his retirement effective February 1, 2007.

Catalfamo is a veteran enrollment management professional with 28 years of dedicated service at Stockton College. He has been involved in Stockton Colleges efforts in admissions, financial aid, recruiting, marketing and strategic enrollment planning. He helped develop a successful enrollment program at Stockton that initially increased and then maintained steady growth in enrollment, during which time SAT scores also rose.

Sals outstanding enrollment management leadership has produced exceptional results at Stockton, noted College President Herman Saatkamp, Jr. The entire Stockton community values Sals involvement and his commitment we are grateful for his significant contributions.

Catalfamo also serves as chairman of freshman and transfer scholarship programs at Stockton. He was a member of the Hammonton Public Schools Board of Education for more than 12 years, and currently serves on a number of local, state, and national committees and boards.

Dean Catalfamo has served Stockton College well through the years, said Joseph J. Marchetti, Vice President for Student Affairs. His personal touch has included a high-level of responsiveness to enrollment trends and meeting the needs of our students. Sals leadership has been instrumental in influencing the direction of Stockton College. His contribution will be a strong factor in Stocktons future.

Through the years, Catalfamo has been an advocate for a variety of diversity programs, including Stocktons Equal Opportunity Fund Program, for which he was recently honored with an award.

The College will initiate a national search for his replacement.
