GALLOWAY TWP., N.J. The Richard Stockton College of NJ Holocaust Resource Center is hosting an evening with Holocaust survivor Hannah Goslar Pick. Her lecture, "Memories of a Childhood Friend of Anne Frank" will be presented in Stockton's Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at 7:30 PM. The program will end by 9:00 PM. Tickets must be purchased in person at Stockton's Performing Arts Center's Box Office, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. All tickets are $1.00.
Hannah Goslar Pick will share her memories of friendship with Anne Frank. She was prominently featured in Anne Frank's Diary as "Lies" She was the key witness in two film documentaries of Anne Frank's life, The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank and Anne Frank Remembered. Hannah Pick will also share her story of survival during the war. She is one of the last people to see Anne Frank in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
Her story serves as a basis for the young adult book, Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend by Alison Lesley Gold. A questions and answer period will follow the lecture.
