The Annual Ida E King Memorial Lecture

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

The Annual Ida E King Memorial Lecture will be on Tuesday, November 28th  at 7:00 pm - "Unstable Ground: Climate Change, Borders, and Genocide" presented by Dr. Alex Alvarez, Ida E King Distinguished Visiting Professor of Holocaust Studies - fall 2017 through spring 2018.  Dr. Alvarez will explore the issue of climate change as the science becomes clearer and the evidence mounts. This lecture will focus on tracing and exploring some of the implications of climate change for various types of conflict, especially in border zones, and especially for genocidal violence.
