Dates:  March 8 - March 19

Cost:  $3,500  (+$799 suggested supplement)

Highlights:

  • 3 nights Amsterdam, netherlands with the oppurtunity to learn more about Leo Ullman who was a hidden child, discover the Anne Frank house, Portuguese Synagogue, Jewish Museum, and Rijksmuseum/Van Gogh Museum.
  • 1 night Utrecht, Netherlands with stop in Amersfoort following the life stories of two Holocaust survivors, Jack Lewis & Maud Dahme.
  • 1 night Caen, Normandy (France) with full-day visit to D-Day Landing Sites.
  • 3 nights Paris, France and the oppurtunity to trace the life story of Holocaust survivor Dan Kochavi, touring the Memorial de la Shoah Museum, The Shoah Memorial in Drancy & Site of Drancy Internment Camp, visit to Eiffel.

Further Information:

The Study Tour Faculty Led Program to Netherlands and France is designed for students (undergraduate and graduate). All students will enroll in Spring Semester 2017 courses:

  • Undergraduate students:  GSS 3278 - "Study Tour: The Holocaust"
  • Graduate students:  MAHG 5022 - "Study Seminar to the Sites"
