My name is Victoria Dean. I am a commuter student, but it is as if I live at Stockton. I am a Psychology major with a concentration in Elementary Education and a minor in Childhood Studies. In addition to my studies, I am an Orientation Leader and a member of Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. I am a member of T.A.L.O.N.S., which stands for The Activity Leaders of New Students. I participated in the Stockton's Alternative Spring Break program, where I donated my spring break to helping Habitat for Humanity. I am on the Campus Hearing Board. I work in the Office of Student Development. I am one of the two student coordinators for the Parent and Family Association. At one point, I was also one of two T.A.L.O.N.S. Head Mentors. This just names a very select few of the numerous clubs and organizations Stockton offers.

I never believed I would be attending Stockton University. Money was always an issue for me. When I was accepted into the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program, my entire life changed. This program allowed me to live on campus for five weeks with my peers. We dedicated our time to two classes, Math and English. This gave us a head start; we were beginning the University with a feel for the atmosphere. We came into our first year knowing 70 students who we had gained lifelong bonds and friendships with. EOF gave me opportunities that I never dreamed imaginable. I am proud to be a part of the Stockton Family; it truly is my home.
